FAVORITE FILIPINO HERO.

·         He's kind of responsible for our freedom, for awakening our consciousness and brigning us back to reality that 'this is our country' and then stirring a revolution to freedom...

·         he was the igniter of the Philippine revolution. He wrote many novels and became a good propagandist also because he was assassinated in Bagumbayan(Luneta), it awaken the sleeping braveness in the hearts of the Filipinos.. which leads to the cry of Pugad Lawin and the

revolution of 8 major provinces.. then the whole philippine revolution.

·         He raised the consciousness of the Filipinos to the oppression they were experiencing under the Spanish rule at the time. He helped work for independence and became a martyr when he died by firing squad. He believed in non violent means of reform and wrote two novels that were instrumental in making Filipinos aware of their plight. These are "Noli Me Tangere" and "El Filibusterismo".

·         He sorta' educated his countrymen through his literary works into rebelling against their cruel "master" at the time.

·         The government during that time has to find a non-violent man with a non-violent means of revolutionary ideals.

·         he lead the first people's power against the spanish conquistadors.

·         he wrote 2 novels which berated the spaniards, he irked them and they exiled him until he was killed as a martyr in luneta

·         Open the minds of our people... which Gun's and Bolo cannot do...

·         he died for his country..I mean for my country(Philippines). 

WHY DR. JOSE RIZAL IS MY CHOOSE

 Its because of  the great things he have done in our country. He help many people with all his heart as long as he can give. He never been afraid to show what are the bad things that spaniards do in our country. He never been afraid to fight for the safety of his love ones and lastly he is welling to give his life because of his great love of our country.
